Between 2015 and 2050 the proportion of the world's population over 60 years-old will grow from 12% to 22% (World Health Organisation). Countries face major challenges to ensure their health and social systems are ready for this demographic shift.
Our online Masters course in Gerontology and Global Ageing will help you to address the implications of an ageing population. By studying our MSc Gerontology and Global Ageing, you will:
learn how global ageing impacts policy and the development of products and services;
gain an international perspective on best practice in supporting ageing societies;
analyse research and apply your learnings to help enhance care for ageing populations.
Learn online from our experts
You can study our gerontology course online from anywhere in the world. The course fits around your current commitments, and is suitable for anyone who already has experience in the sector. Course content is accessible at any time, allowing you to work through individual learning materials and watch lectures at your own pace.
