Our financial mathematics degree provides an ideal platform if you are interested in pursuing a career in the financial sector.

This degree in financial mathematics is based on the type of mathematics and statistics used daily in the financial industry. You will study asset price modelling, risk-neutral pricing, time series analysis and actuarial mathematics. An optional work placement means you can test new skills and knowledge in a working environment.

The course is accredited by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, the UK's chartered professional body for mathematicians, so with further experience, you could achieve chartered mathematician status.
