Course summary

This exciting course allows you to top up your existing qualifications to an honour’s degree in one year, whilst benefiting from all that Northumbria University and the city of Newcastle has to offer.
This course has been designed to give you the ideal balance between a broad understanding of business, by developing your specialist knowledge in contemporary business management with an emphasis on marketing management. The business modules enhance your ability to think strategically and to evaluate how businesses operate globally in an increasingly competitive environment and equip you with managerial techniques skills in project management.

The course includes specialist modules in responsible marketing strategy and digital and data driven marketing. With a marketing specialism as part of your degree award, you’ll have an extra edge in employability.

There’s plenty of support for you to develop the academic study skills that are required. Whatever your background, we’ll help you take the more critical, deeper, and research-informed approach that’s needed for an honour’s degree at a UK university.
