Learn how to provide care for babies, children and young people and gain NMC registration in an additional field of practice.
Upgrade your existing nursing degree by learning the specialist skills and knowledge required of a child nurse.
You’ll learn in the classroom and through hands-on placements, covering the assessment and treatment of children who are acutely ill and/or have complex care needs, as well as effective communication with, and advocacy of young patients and their families.

Course optionsApplicants for whom English is not their first language and who are unable to provide evidence of being taught and examined through the medium of English are required to demonstrate proficiency in the English language. This can be via an Occupational English Test with a grade of C+ in writing and B in the reading, listening and speaking sections or an English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall score of 6.5 and at least a 6.0 in any of the writing, reading, listening and speaking sections.
