Dietetics (Taught)

AAB, including Chemistry or Biology/Human Biology, plus one other science; or ABB with both Chemistry and Biology/Human Biology. For Biology/Human Biology, Chemistry and Physics A Levels, we require a pass in the practical element. Other science-related subjects accepted include Food Technology, Mathematics, Home Economics, Geography, Psychology, PE, Environmental Science or Geology. GCSE Mathematics and English (minimum grade B or 6) are required if not offered at A Level. Applicants without both Biology and Chemistry will be asked for the higher offer in the range.

AAABB at Higher Grade including Chemistry or Biology, plus one other science (which can include Mathematics, Psychology, Geography). Mathematics and English required at National 5, minimum grade B (or grade 2 Standard Grade or Intermediate 2 equivalent) if not offered at Higher Grade.
Combinations of Highers and Advanced Highers are accepted.

45 level 3 credits at Distinction including 15 credits in Biology and 15 credits in Chemistry. Credits in Mathematics and English language may be required if the minimum GCSE requirements have not been met.

32 - 34 points including two science subjects, preferably Chemistry and Biology at Higher Level grade 5 or above. Standard Level Chemistry and Biology required at grade 5 and Standard Level Mathematics and English required at grade 4 if not offered at Higher Level. If not studying full IB Diploma - Grades 6, 6, 5 at Higher Level including Chemistry and Biology and Standard Level Mathematics and English required at Grade 4 if not offered at Higher Level and completion of a national high school diploma.

H1H1H2H2H3 at Higher Level, including Chemistry or Biology, plus one other science subject. If not offered at Higher Level, then Maths and English at Ordinary Level 2 will be required.

D3 D3 M2 in Principal Subjects including Chemistry or Biology plus one other science (which can include Mathematics, Psychology, Geography) or D3 M2 M2 in Principal Subjects including Chemistry and Biology. GCSE Mathematics and English (minimum grade B or 6) required if not offered as a Principal Subject.
