Our Pharmaceutical Chemistry programme is designed to equip you with the practical laboratory experience and employability skills needed to thrive in this dynamic field.

From pharmacology and biochemistry to cancer chemotherapy, inorganic chemistry, and spectroscopy, you’ll gain a deep understanding of the principles shaping modern drug discovery and development.

You’ll explore how drugs are designed and optimised from lead compounds, uncover their modes of action and pharmacology, and learn how they progress from clinical trials to large-scale manufacture.

Our innovative teaching approach blends lectures, tutorials, augmented reality, and lab simulations, ensuring you develop the critical skills to tackle real-world challenges as a pharmaceutical chemist.
