This cyber security degree, aligned with NCSC CyBoK 1.1, will launch your career in protecting data. You’ll learn to evaluate cyber security issues, apply best practices, and analyse solutions to combat cyber threats.

Year 1
ear 1 includes modules to introduce you to practice as a professional, supporting collaboration, entrepreneurship, and enterprise. These modules build industry connections from the outset, developing the interdisciplinary skills and professional currency needed throughout your degree.

Year 2

Year 3

You'll explore six key areas of cyber security: networking, databases, software development and management, cyber security, artificial intelligence and machine learning, ethics

Assessment method

You will be continually assessed throughout the course using a variety of methods including oral assessment, portfolio, practical assignments, presentations, reflective written documents, and industry-focused reports. Formative assessment will be used throughout the modules to assess progress, while summative assessment will take place in the latter stages of each module.
