Course summary

The BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design degree at Lincoln takes a multidisciplinary approach that positions the subject between the academically rigorous profession of architecture and the fast-paced world of contemporary visual culture and design. On this degree, students will have the opportunity to develop practical design knowledge in specialist studios, learning from staff who are active both professionally and as researchers. Students learn about the disciplines within the design industry and building technology methods, whilst developing their own creative, individual style. I did A Level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and EPQ and I am very familiar with the clearing process due to my A levels not going as expected so feel free to ask questions around this subject too! Clearing felt very daunting at first when things didn’t go as planned on results day, but the process was actually really easy and ended up finding the university that’s best for me. Everything was so quick and it really helped me to settle into university lifestyle. So yeah, any questions you have about this I’m happy to answer :)

    I have just completed my first year as an Accountancy and Finance student at the University of Lincoln. I took a gap year before starting university in which I worked and travelled, whilst deciding what I wanted my future to look like! After university, I want to either train to be an accountant, or a teacher, possibly in maths, business or my degree area. I joined the University of Lincoln's Athletics society in September 2024, which has allowed me to make new friends, and take part in many social and competitive events. I ran my first 10k race in April 2025 with fellow society members! I live at home and commuted to campus during my first year. I either walked, drove or got the bus to university.
