Course summary

This work-based learning programme combines courses in health, social care and mental health and is aimed at meeting the skills required by the growing health and social care market.

The course aims to equip you if you are working, or intending to work in health and social care with relevant knowledge and skills, to address your continuing professional development needs and bridge the gap between theory and practice.

During the course, you’ll undertake two practice placement modules, enabling you to develop a range of work-based skills.

This programme can lead to a wide variety of other courses and studies, including Social Work, Community and Social Care, Nursing, Midwifery, Physiotherapy, Operating Department Practice and Sports Therapy.
