Course summary

The BSc (Hons) in Business Management is a one year top-up for people who already have a Foundation degree or other HND-Level qualification and want to gain a full undergraduate degree.

Whilst studying our BSc (Hons) Business Management (Top-up) programme, you will investigate how organisations think and work, how they’re managed, and how they are influenced by factors. Modules are designed in consultation with potential employers, giving the direct relevance to what you study, combined with real-world coursework assessments. You will also have the opportunity to develop you own business ideas and receive support through Ignite, our Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Programme.

This programme is available as both a full time over one year or part time over two years.

Assessment method

A variety of methods of assessment is used to assess progress on the programme. The methods most commonly used are untimed coursework assessments, and timed, unseen examinations. Other forms of assessment such as oral presentations, practical skills tests, timed coursework assessments, “seen" examinations, case study and “open book” examinations may also be used.
