The Sport and Exercise Science degree at Lincoln was developed to meet both the student demand and the growing reputation of sport and exercise science and the role that sport and physical activity can play in improving the health of the nation. The programme is a multidisciplinary degree that aims to develop students’ knowledge, understanding and practical skills in the key areas of physiology, biomechanics and psychology — so they can understand their impact on sports performance, physical activity and health. This degree reflects current research-informed teaching and innovation within the sector. Students have access to specialist equipment, housed within the Human Performance Centre, enabling cutting edge research, assessment and training of health, physical fitness and technique.
