Course summary

The Cert HE in Children, Young People and Families is validated by Lancaster University and is aimed specifically at individuals who wish to work in a variety of settings with children, young people and/ or families. The course content matches that of the first year of the Foundation Degree in Children, Young People and Families with the potential to progress onto this qualification. The Cert HE intends to develop your knowledge of the theoretical principles which underpin child development, youth work and family studies in a variety of contexts. You will examine a range of subjects which relate to working with individuals in children, youth and family services.
