Course summary

Combining the rigorous Scots Law study with essential business insight, this course will help you to gain the core legal knowledge and skills required by the Law Society of Scotland while developing a strong understanding of business operations, preparing you for diverse careers in law, commerce, and beyond.

The course covers both private and public law subjects, and builds key transferable skills through hands-on experience like presentations, group work and research. You have an opportunity to sharpen your advocacy and legal research skills in our on-campus Moot Court when competing in mooting competitions.

The additional study of management equips you with the knowledge and skills desired in the legal sector and the wider world of business.
