Course Modules
You complete 10 compulsory modules and 8/9 elective modules.
The BA in French Studies is delivered in three stages, each of which comprises one year of full-time study during which you will follow courses to the value of four units (one unit is equivalent to 30 national credits or 15 European credits). The programme provides progressive structures enabling you to develop increasingly specialised knowledge and understanding of key themes alongside core transferable skills.
We offer regular site visits, as an integrated element of our teaching to help you get the most out of the city and your study experience.
Assessment method
Programmes use mixed assessment models, incorporating written coursework, oral presentations and formal exams and vary from module to module.
Students can follow a range of different pathways and complete a research projects in their final year of study.
