This award delivers an in-depth exploration of biomolecular science, anatomy and physiology, and the mechanisms of human health and disease, with a strong emphasis on applying scientific knowledge to clinical practice, bridging the gap between laboratory research and patient care. The course has strong focus on applied, real world learning and is closely aligned with current developments in biomedical research.

The course offers a distinctive interdisciplinary approach, combining systems of the human body, and biomedical science, with embedded development of research and professional skills opportunities. You will study key biomedical disciplines, alongside evolving topics such as emerging infectious disease, personalised and regenerative medicine and neurotechnology.
