Course summary

Study Computer Science at Aston University and develop the technical and practical skills needed for careers in software, data and digital technology. This course combines applied, project-based learning with industry-informed teaching.

  • Applied, project-based learning using real-world challenges

  • Development of Aston Power Skills alongside technical expertise

Students on our computer science courses have completed placements with organisations including IBM, Microsoft, Deloitte and Accenture, working in roles such as software developer, data analyst and IT consultant.

Graduates from our computer science courses have progressed into roles such as software engineer, cloud engineer and data analyst at organisations including Microsoft, Amazon and IBM.
