Course summary
BA (Hons) Fine Art is designed for artists who want to explore ideas boldly, experiment across materials and disciplines, and develop a confident, independent practice. From your first weeks in the studio to your final year exhibition, you’ll be supported to take creative risks, refine your thinking and build work that reflects your artistic identity.
You’ll learn through hands-on studio practice, specialist workshops and exhibition making, gaining real experience of presenting your work to audiences. Studying in the historic home of Manchester School of Art places you at the heart of a vibrant creative city, connecting your learning to contemporary art, collaboration and future focused projects. You’ll graduate with a strong portfolio, professional confidence and transferable skills that open doors across the creative industries and beyond.
