Course summary

This course will deepen your knowledge of PE and how to teach the subject, fast-tracking you to beginning your career as a secondary teacher. You’ll develop your own knowledge of PE and a holistic and inclusive approach to teaching. You’ll be taught by PE experts and by former secondary teachers with an enthusiasm for their subject. Plus, you’ll spend plenty of time in the classroom, putting what you’ve learned into practice.

DMM from a BTEC Extended Diploma including relevant PE or Science modules

Access to HE Diploma

Pass your Access course with 60 credits overall with a minimum of 45 credits at level 3 including relevant PE or Science modules

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

104 - 112 UCAS Tariff points from your BTEC Level 3 National Diploma and up to two other qualifications including A-Level in a PE or a Science subject or equivalent

We will consider T Levels for entry to this course, either as stand-alone qualifications or in conjunction with other Level 3 qualifications, in accordance with the specified course tariff points.
