Course summary

This programme has been designed to meet the needs of the workforce. It provides a means by which practitioners, employed within a learning environment, can obtain a recognised qualification specific to their field and become more effective in their role by an increased reflection on practice.

This Foundation Degree course is for adults who work or volunteer in a formal educational settings e.g. Learning support Assistants.

It is a full-time programme and you will spend one day a week studying in college.

Course Modules

A reflective practice module based on professional standards within the workforce will underpin the study period to ensure strong links are constantly reviewed between theory and practice Modules.

Year 1: Children and Young People’s Development Rights and Participation Promoting the Wellbeing of Children and Young People in Practice Reflective Professional Practice

Year 2: Creating and Sustaining Positive Environments Social Justice and Equity Reflective Professional Practice Researched Informed Practice
