Course summary

The world of business is dynamic and exciting, offering today's business undergraduates vast career opportunities. Human resources, logistics and marketing are just some industry sectors graduates can successfully progress into. The course is designed to develop student's commercial awareness through the examination of contemporary business issues, entrepreneurship, leadership and management. It is also designed to equip graduates with the skills required for the rapidly changing business environment.

Previous students have progressed into positions in the public and private sector, working in managerial, supervisory and administrative roles. Students have also progressed onto the College's BA (Hons) in Business & Management Top-Up Degree which is delivered in partnership with the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).

Undergraduates have the opportunity to learn from highly trained professionals who have worked in a whole host of industry sectors, from marketing to finance. The professionalism and wealth of experienced academic professionals enables students to gain an exclusive insight to the world of business.

Mature students with experience, a portfolio of work and employer references will be considered. Students must also possess a Grade 4 or above in English and Maths at GSCE or equivalent.
