Course summary

This programme enables the multidisciplinary study of sports coaching and development across differing levels of competitive and non competitive sport and physical activity. You will gain an advanced understanding of core principles in sports coaching, physical literacy and practical coaching pedagogy. You will also complete a research project (dissertation) in the third year.

Modules

Year 3 modules: Contemporary Issues in Sports Coaching, Innovative Practial Pedagogy, Independent Project in Sport and Physical Activity and Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Sport and Physical Activity.
