Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are big for business. SMEs account for over half of employment worldwide, with governments increasingly prioritising their development to absorb the growing global workforce. Such enterprises need qualified managers with the right skill set to succeed, and our Enterprise Management postgraduate course provides the perfect preparation for you to help meet this demand and make your mark in the business world.

This exciting business master’s course focuses on the formation and growth of new ventures, and will help to equip you with that all-important entrepreneurial mindset that can be applied to a range of settings. You will learn to develop and apply vital enterprising attributes, behaviours and competencies towards venture creation and the creation of cultural, social or economic value.

  • Masters Entry Requirements
  • A good UK honours degree (minimum 2:2), or international equivalent, in any/relevant subject.
  • We will also consider your application if you have significant, relevant experience (3-5 years) with degree-equivalent professional qualification.
  • English Language - IELTS Score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each component

Postgraduate Diploma Entry requirements

  • A minimum of a third –class honours degree
  • An equivalent overseas degree from a recognised institution
  • We will also consider an equivalent professional qualification
  • English Language - IELTS Score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each component

Additional fee information

UK:
If you are a UK student enrolling on a Foundation Degree or a BA/BSc at University College Birmingham, your fee for this academic year will be £9,790. A half year tuition fee is £4895.
This is a yearly fee, and will increase with inflation in subsequent years (in line with the government’s permitted rise).
If you are an English student studying your first higher education qualification, you can apply for a tuition fee loan from the Student Loans Company.
If you live in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, you should apply to Student Finance Wales, Student Finance Northern Ireland, or SAAS.
UCB does not charge for 24 or 48 week placements.
