Why Accounting and Business Management?(with placement)
This degree blends accounting expertise with essential business skills, preparing you for a fast-moving career in finance, management, or entrepreneurship taught by qualified accountants, industry professionals, and leading researchers. Teaching combines lectures with interactive seminars and workshops, using group work, case studies, problem-solving, presentations, and virtual activities. IT is integrated throughout, and you have the option of a placement year to gain real-world experience. Small classes mean that you’ll get to know your lecturers and other students, making for an excellent university experience.

• Our accountancy accreditations give you significant exemptions from ACCA and CGMA(CIMA). This means you could graduate already part-qualified.
• The course is accredited by Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales (ICAEW), and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
• You’ll benefit from great business links with local, national, and international organisations, including our strategic partner Griffiths Marshall (GM)
You will have access to real-world business experiences and challenges. Simulations with companies within the accounting and finance sector are embedded in your degree, underpinning your learning with real-world application. You will have access to our state-of-the-art Trading Room, LSEG Data and Analytics Workspace.
