This integrated programme is designed to prepare and support you for a career in international business and management. From the moment you enrol, you will begin developing the knowledge, skills and global awareness needed to succeed in an interconnected business environment.
In the first year, you will build a strong foundation for studying at university level. You will develop key academic and professional skills such as communication, numeracy, critical thinking and independent learning, while exploring contemporary issues affecting organisations and the global economy. Through project work and practical activities, you will begin to analyse business situations and develop your understanding of global markets.
As you progress, you will explore business and management in greater depth, with a focus on international contexts. You will examine global strategy, cross-cultural management and international markets, developing your understanding of how organisations operate across different countries and cultures.
The programme prepares you for careers in international business, management and related fields.

The programme uses a range of teaching methods including lectures, seminars and workshops, where you will explore business concepts and apply them to real-world international examples. You will be supported to develop your academic skills and approach to learning.
As you progress, you will explore international business in greater depth, developing your ability to analyse global markets, understand cultural differences and make informed business decisions.
Assessment may include coursework, reports, presentations, group work and examinations. You will receive feedback to support your development, with assessments becoming more independent and applied as you progress.

If you are a mature applicant (aged 21 and over), you will be eligible to apply for this course with level 2 qualifications (or GCSE equivalents). You will also need to provide a written statement, and will be interviewed as part of the process.
