This innovative top-up degree has been designed specifically to support IENs in bridging the gap between their prior learning and the expectations of UK higher education and professional nursing standards.

Through a carefully structured curriculum, you will develop advanced academic writing, critical thinking, and research skills while deepening your knowledge of person-centred care, long-term health conditions, and professional practice. Our dedicated teaching team understands the unique challenges faced by IENs, including acculturation, academic transition, and adapting to UK healthcare systems, and will provide personalised guidance throughout your journey.

The course fosters a supportive and inclusive learning environment, with opportunities to enhance clinical decision-making, leadership, and reflective practice. On graduation, you will hold a UK honours degree and be fully prepared to excel in complex healthcare settings, drive positive change, and make a meaningful contribution to the nursing profession both in the UK and internationally.

Please note: This course is designed for overseas qualified nurses who have already completed a relevant Level 5 qualification.
