Course Modules

This business and law diploma has two stages, each comprising 120 credits.

In Stage 1, you’ll explore key areas of business and management, beginning with the question, ‘What is a business?’ You’ll then be introduced to civil law, gaining an understanding of the justice system and key areas of tort law, including negligence, nuisance, and defamation.

Stage 2 begins with an exploration of an organisation’s core functions and how they work together to support effective management. You’ll then study contract law – how contracts are formed, what terms mean, and how agreements can end. Finally, you’ll examine broader legal rules that affect business operations, including those regulating employment relationships.
