From concept to creation, Product Design at Leeds puts you at the centre of shaping how the world works.
This course brings creativity and technical thinking together to explore how ideas become real products. You’ll learn to design both physical and digital products – from consumer goods and electronics to software and apps. Develop a strong understanding of the full design process, from user insight and concept creation to detailed design and production.

Industrial placement year
This course gives you the opportunity to undertake a paid industrial placement year alongside your studies. Our close industry links give you the platform to apply to several major organisations, including Unilever, Robotas, and Johnson Matthey.
