Course summary

UEL's BSc Biochemistry and Biotechnology course introduces you to one of the most rapidly evolving fields of science. We're one of the few UK universities offering biotechnology as part of a named BSc biochemistry degree. The bachelor's degree in biochemistry prepares you to work with companies producing and promoting modern biological products, aiming to solve global human problems. We offer competitive work placements to develop your skills, gain insight into biochemistry roles and improve your employability after graduation.

develop skills in planning and conducting your own experiments, solving scientific problems in a research environment, preparing you for a career in bioscience
