Discover the animator you are, one film at a time.
At UCA, animation is unlimited. We believe you learn best by constant making, and this is how you’ll find out what kind of animation is most true to you. You'll spend three years mastering how to tell stories, communicate ideas, and develop a visual language that's entirely your own. This is where Europe's first animation degree began over 50 years ago, and that pioneering spirit still drives everything we do.
You'll be surrounded by people working in completely different ways – and that diversity is one of the course's greatest strengths. Whether you work in stop motion, CGI, hand-drawn, experimental or hybrid techniques, and whether your work is rough and ready or technically refined – your animation is judged on its own terms.
You'll be taught by award-winning filmmakers, receive feedback from Oscar and BAFTA-recognised practitioners, and target international film festivals with your work. By the time you graduate, you'll have a distinctive portfolio, a clear creative voice, and the professional skills to enter the world of work with confidence.
