Course summary

Psychology is the study of the mind and human behaviour. Applied psychology places particular emphasis on its application in real-life and clinical contexts.

This course introduces you to the fundamentals of psychology and its professional application, covering important theoretical and historical issues within the subject, as well as notions of the self and identity and vital research techniques.

This Higher National Certificate (HNC) follows the Year 1 curriculum of the Applied Psychology BSc (Hons) degree course.
