5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, which must include mathematics, English Language (or Welsh First Language) and at least 1 science subject. No alternative to the GCSE is acceptable

You should have already undertaken a minimum of one week of work experience in a small animal veterinary practice before enrolling onto this course (work undertaken in dog kennels, cattery, rescue centres or pet shops will not satisfy this criterion). You must be able to provide evidence of this work experience and it must be recent (i.e. no more than three years prior to your application date).
