At ULSB, our courses offer you a comprehensive insight into a broad range of subjects including management, marketing, human resource management, business ethics and innovation. We are driven by a commitment to asking challenging questions and to engaged, creative and socially responsible approaches to business, management and economics. Our degrees provide opportunities for professional development and will give you the skills to overcome contemporary managerial challenges with innovative and analytical decision-making.

Our Business and Management BA offers you a programme of learning which will expose you to the realities of management and the managerial experience in a variety of contexts. The course covers the relevance of both management theory and practice for the solution of problems in international, national and local arenas and in the private and public sectors. You will be provided with an educational experience which both complements and challenges accepted thinking, norms and perceptions in business and management.

Our courses will provide you with an in-depth understanding of contemporary management techniques, and will allow you to develop the skills to become an effective and socially responsible manager in local and global arenas, whether in public, private or third sector organisations and enterprises.

All subjects accepted. Two AS-levels may be considered in place of one A-level.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) - DDM

Business Extended Diploma accepted. Other subjects are considered. Please contact the admissions team for further advice: study@le.ac.uk

Access to HE Diploma - D: 30 credits

Pass relevant diploma with 45 credits at Level 3, including 30 credits at Distinction.

Scottish Higher

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

Business or Science National Diploma considered with 1 A-level. For other combinations please contact the admissions team for further advice: study@le.ac.uk

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 30 points

Pass Diploma with 30 points overall with a minimum of grade 3 in SL Maths Analysis and Approach, grade 3 in HL Maths or grade 4 in SL Maths Application and Interpretation if not held at GCSE grade 4/C. Must include a minimum of grade 4 in English A or 5 in English B if minimum of grade 4/C not held in English Language at GCSE.

WJEC Level 3 Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales

Accepted alongside other qualifications.

Extended Project

Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017)
