Course summary

OVERVIEW
Our foundation year in business management is your opportunity to grow into university life with confidence, clarity, and care. Whether you’re returning to education or looking for a structured introduction to business studies, we’ll guide you every step of the way.

You’ll build core knowledge across business topics while developing vital academic and professional skills. With wellbeing and personal support embedded into your learning, you’ll gain the self-belief, motivation, and study habits to thrive at university and beyond.

From the outset, we prepare you to take part in real-world business learning. You’ll begin building the confidence and capabilities to engage with employers, understand workplace expectations, and contribute to business challenges, all of which lay the groundwork for the work-integrated learning and employer-facing projects that define our full BA (Hons) Business Management programme.

This foundation year leads seamlessly into a career-focused degree built around leadership, commercial awareness, and global citizenship. Whatever your starting point, we’re here to help you move forward with purpose and become the kind of business professional that employers are looking for.
