Develop a deeper understanding of the theory and practice of English Language Teaching (ELT) with this master’s degree. You can apply for this course if you have experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and want to gain skills for leadership roles in ELT.
If you don’t have experience as an EFL teacher and want to begin your career as one, you can apply for our MA English Language Teaching TESOL Studies course.
"Compulsory modules include: Analysing Language for ELT/TESOL; Critical Appraisal of Language Teaching Methodologies; Current Issues in Language Teaching Methodologies; Dissertation. Optional modules include: Autonomy and Individualisation in Language Learning; Writing and Written Language; Digital Education and English Language Teaching; English as medium of instruction in global education; Language ideologies in a globalising world.

We'll assess your knowledge through: individual and group projects and presentations, through workshop activities, written assignments, and the dissertation.
English language: Band D, IELTS 6.5 overall score with at least 6.5 in Reading and Writing and at least 6.0 in Speaking and Listening.
