You will focus on exploring coaching specific theory, research and practice. This programme of study focuses on contemporary areas of sports coaching academia, such as coach education, coach learning and coaching practice. You will have the opportunity to develop and self-direct their own specialised coaching knowledge, attributes and skills through a variety of theoretical and practical experiences. We also encourage you to engage with tailoring your own continuous professional development journey and to attain appropriate vocational coaching qualifications. The course emphasises the importance of you developing academic and research skills which aim to improve confidence, credibility and critical writing.
