Become part of the vibrant film community at Keele. Through our Film Studies degree you will become a creative individual with the ability to critically evaluate, synthesise and produce content effectively through various methods. The learning covers a range of aesthetic and technological resources used by filmmakers both historically, and in the contemporary film and television industries. This carefully considered curriculum balances theoretical and practical learning whilst presenting opportunities to gain invaluable industry experience on placements. Film students have dedicated teaching spaces and access to our bespoke editing suites, as well as opportunities to work in our photographic and sound design studios. The facilities allow you to implement and challenge your practical skills alongside your theoretical learning. You can loan filmmaking equipment to develop your skills and enhance your employability prospects.
