Marketing and business leadership today demand more than knowledge; they require the ability to think strategically, act decisively and create value in data-driven, fast-changing environments. This accelerated degree is practical rather than theoretical, and develops commercially aware graduates who can understand organisations, harness data and lead innovation. Through real-world projects, digital tools and applied learning, you will build the confidence and capability to shape brands and future business opportunities, whilst centring marketing in any organisation’s competitive positioning.
Our Business Management with Marketing degree is designed for students who wish to develop strategic, data-fluent and future-focused marketing leaders who can operate confidently. Today, marketing sits at the centre of business success, shaping how organisations create value, connect with customers and compete in fast-changing digital environments.
This accelerated degree follows a clear developmental journey, beginning with the development of a strong foundation and understanding in core business disciplines, including markets, organisations and value creation. As your focus shifts to analysing organisations as complex systems, you’ll utilise data and insight to diagnose challenges and support decision-making. Towards the conclusion of your degree, you will specialise in marketing leadership, exploring digital marketing strategy, the role of data and AI, and the future of marketing organisations.
Throughout the programme, you’ll develop the ability to think strategically about marketing, and learn about how customer value, brand development and competitive advantage are created. You will also examine the growing importance of digital platforms, automation and data-driven decision-making, alongside the ethical and societal implications of modern marketing practice.
A defining feature of the course is its applied, real-world focus. You will engage with live business projects, simulations and authentic marketing challenges, working with local businesspeople and wider data-rich environments that reflect contemporary practice.
In your final stage, you will complete an independent marketing research project, applying your knowledge to a real-world issue or opportunity.
You will graduate with a recognised degree, strong analytical capability, digital fluency and the confidence to lead marketing strategy in a rapidly evolving world.
