On the English side of your programme, you will move from foundational, core modules, to a freer choice of modules covering move specific areas of study. In each year, you will take 75% of your credits in English and 25% from your other subject. The first year will build the knowledge and skills necessary for more advanced study in English literature and language. In years two and three, you will build on these in relation to more specialist topics. You can choose to continue with the study of both language and literature, or to specialise in one aspect of the subject.
