You will study the following core modules:

  • Education placement 1 for technological education (SC)

  • Electrical and electronic fundamentals (S1)

  • Engineering science - dynamics and microcontrollers (S2)

  • Industry based placement for technological subjects (SC)

  • Workshop practices (SC)

Year 2 - DipHE

You will study the following core modules:

  • Education placement 2 for technological education (SC)

  • Practical project and management (SC)

  • Product design, cad, and manufacture (SC)

  • Technical graphics (SC)

Year 3 - BSc

You will study the following core modules:

  • Education placement 3a for technological education (S1)

  • Education placement 3b for technological education (S2)

  • Enacting the curriculum for technological education (SC)

  • Engineering science – structures and materials (S2)

  • Product visual media and animation (S1)

Year 4 - BSc (Hons)

You will study the following core modules:

  • Education placement 4a for technological education (S1)

  • Education placement 4b for technological education (S2)

  • Engineering science: thermodynamics and fluids (S2)

  • Renewable technologies and contemporary issues (S1)

  • Teacher enquiry for technological education (SC)
