Course summary

The course is fully accredited by the Chartered Banker Institute. This means you will graduate with a dual award: an MSc Banking and the Chartered Banker Diploma, which is the gold standard for professional bankers and is the highest award available in the banking world. We are proud to be in a select group of business schools to offer this dual qualification.**

Course Description: This degree programme will provide students with advanced level management and business training relating to banking and finance. This involves understanding practical managerial issues surrounding banking/financial firms including: bank financial and strategic management, banking and financial sector development, bank and corporate performance, financial technology, and analysing the features of financial systems and markets. It will also develop students’ awareness of the latest strategic, managerial and technological developments in the financial services industry**.**

This programme will equip participants’ for career promotion and employment in the financial sector by developing and enhancing a range of advanced transferable intellectual and study skills, as well as enhancing lifelong learning skills and personal development to contribute to society at large.

Hello everyone - I'm a third year MEng electronic engineering student currently on industrial placement at the DSP Centre of Excellence here at Bangor University. My industrial placement project involves research and development in automated datapoint collection for visible light positioning systems that utilizes machine learning for increased accuracy for 5G & 6G applications. In Sept 25' I will continue my studies and once I have completed my undergraduate I aspire to become a PhD candidate at the DSP Centre to continue researching in the field of Visible Light Communications & Positioning technologies. Facts: - Parent of three girls. - Motorcycle enthusiast. - Lover of all genre's of music. - M*A*S*H 4077th is my favorite TV show. - Megadeth & Ghost are my two favorite bands. - Final Fantasy VII favorite game, arguably Resident Evil 2 is a closed 2nd.
