Entry requirements

Applicants are expected to have at least one of the following:

An undergraduate degree, usually at 1st or 2:1 class level, or equivalent in a relevant subject; or
A relevant master’s qualification or equivalent evidence of prior professional practice.

English language requirements

Applicants whose native language is not English and who have not been educated previously in the English language must provide evidence of their English language ability to ensure they can cope with the demands of a course taught and assessed in English. Additional fee information

An additional bench fee will be payable on an annual basis, depending upon the nature of the PhD studies. These costs will be made clear at the time that ant offer of PhD study at SRUC is made. PhD tuition fees are set by UKRI for all PhDs across the UK. The cost listed in an estimate and may be subject to change.
