Course summary

Employers are increasingly looking to recruit graduates who can demonstrate that they have the high-level skills and abilities to succeed in global logistics management. MSc Supply Chain and Logistics Management at the University of Lincoln has been designed with these employer expectations in mind.

The course provides students with the opportunity to explore practice in the context of relevant contemporary theory and research in the field of Logistics Management from an international perspective.

MSc Supply Chain and Logistics Management seeks to develop the strategic vision of students, focusing on the development of creative thinking and proactive management. The programme recognises that all organisations, local and global, are constantly changing and seeks to ensure that managers develop the necessary knowledge and competencies to cope with this. The programme of study allows for context and situation-specific learning.

Lectures, seminars, case studies, and guest speakers aim to provide students with a rich and thorough understanding of the subject. The course aims to prepare for a career in management or consultancy in areas related to logistics and operations at local and global scales.

Hi I’m Ellie and I’m a Second Year Pharmacy student. I will be at Lincoln for 3 more years and plan on becoming a pharmacist when I graduate. I did A Level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and EPQ and I am very familiar with the clearing process due to my A levels not going as expected so feel free to ask questions around this subject too! Clearing felt very daunting at first when things didn’t go as planned on results day, but the process was actually really easy and ended up finding the university that’s best for me. I am currently in the arts and crafts society, 20 minute society, Biochemistry society, video game society, tabletop society and musical society at Lincoln. I have just completed my first year as an Accountancy and Finance student at the University of Lincoln. I took a gap year before starting university in which I worked and travelled, whilst deciding what I wanted my future to look like! After university, I want to either train to be an accountant, or a teacher, possibly in maths, business or my degree area. I joined the University of Lincoln's Athletics society in September 2024, which has allowed me to make new friends, and take part in many social and competitive events. I ran my first 10k race in April 2025 with fellow society members! I live at home and commuted to campus during my first year. I either walked, drove or got the bus to university.

Hi, I'm Chloe a current second year student at the University of Lincoln, studying Technical theatre and stage management.
