MA Games Art challenges you to expand your creative and technical practice through an advanced interdisciplinary programme designed to extend your portfolio with a deeper understanding of game art production techniques, and a collaborative investigation of world-building and storytelling for games.

Designed to mirror industry practices and delivered by academics actively working in the game sector, our course proactively ensures relevance to contemporary game art roles equipping you with the skills needed to succeed in the field. Our industry partners provide valuable insights through guest lectures, portfolio reviews and networking opportunities, further helping you refine your practice and prepare for your career as a game artist.

At the School of Digital Arts (SODA) you'll have access to a full suite of cutting-edge facilities, including a dedicated motion capture studio, VR/AR labs, a virtual production studio, and PrintCity, the University's 3D printing centre, enabling you to explore the latest techniques and processes in game art production.
