- Explore, design, and evaluate creative ideas development through professional preproduction processes that form a strong foundation for production pipelines.
- Differentiate appropriate game development business practises and implement these to inform the development of successful game products.
- Research and problem solve a range of contemporary, relatively complex game problems independently and in groups.
- Contribute to research into game development workflows using appropriate data, sources and methodologies.
- Develop a range of game production processes ranging from game art and animation production to technical game development using game engines and other relevant game development tools.
- Act independently in planning and managing self-defined tasks with limited guidance to produce creative game production outcomes
- Evaluate creative and technical choices made throughout a game production pipeline to judge the success of a project.

Assessment method
Teaching will take an array of formats including lecturers, seminars, workshop, one to one and more. Teaching will be largely practical work focused so that learners are building outcomes using the theoretical knowledge they have gained. Assessment is largely coursework based with learners keeping an online blog to store their work for each module. Some modules will also have essay components that are handed in more traditionally.
