OVERVIEW
Your journey into the world of business begins with a foundation year designed to prepare you for success. More than academic preparation, this year focuses on building confidence, providing direction, and ensuring you feel supported throughout your studies.
You’ll explore key business principles, including strategy, finance, and marketing, while developing essential academic skills such as critical thinking, research, and communication. Alongside this, you’ll benefit from strong personal support through our dedicated pastoral care, personalised tutoring, and a close-knit learning community that helps you feel confident and motivated.
The foundation year leads directly to our BA (Hons) Business Administration and Management degree, which combines theory with real-world practice. From the outset, you’ll be encouraged to think like a future business leader, with the skills and support needed to succeed in today’s fast-changing business environment.
