Course summary

Are you ready to drive transformative change from inside established organisations?

The world's most impactful innovations often come from within. Our MSc in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship equips you with the high-level skills and critical competencies to become a future leader who can both drive change within large corporations and successfully launch new ventures.

We offer a distinctive, practice-based focus: you will learn far more than just theory, applying it directly to solve real-world business challenges. This hands-on approach ensures you can create transformative value within existing organisations, whether through new product development, process optimisation or internal venturing.

Programme highlights:

  • Become a Corporate Innovator: While sharing a core with our other innovation programmes, this MSc has a specific emphasis on corporate and organisational entrepreneurship, a skill set in high demand.

  • Practice-Led, Industry-Connected: Our curriculum is built around teamwork and solving real-world challenges, not exams. This immersive approach ensures you gain invaluable practical experience in taking a commercial concept from idea to market.

  • Master AI for Corporate Strategy: In a world being reshaped by AI, explore how to deploy it responsibly. You will learn to leverage this technology to enhance your practice and engage audiences in new ways, ensuring you are at the forefront of ethical and impactful creative work.

  • Education Excellence: The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is an accredited Centre of Excellence (IOEE), meaning upon graduation you will automatically qualify for an additional professional qualification—an Advance Diploma in Entrepreneurship. The Centre is also a proud national award winner for our authentic, real-world assessment, recently receiving the AGCAS Academic Employability Award (2025).

  • Launchpad for Corporate Leaders: Bristol is recognised as one of the top five best places in the UK to start-up outside of London (Startup Cities Index, 2022), providing an exceptional environment for your studies and future career.

Teaching for postgraduate programmes in the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will be delivered at our new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus, opening 2026. Here, a new Centre student hub, Active Learning Studios, a hands-on Maker Space and event spaces will provide the backdrop for challenge-led learning and enhanced links with businesses.
