The BA Business and Law is an interdisciplinary course that brings together the strengths of business and legal education to reflect the realities of the modern professional landscape.
Today's employers value graduates who not only understand the commercial world but also possess the legal knowledge to navigate complex regulatory environments. In addition, lawyers also need to understand the strategic management and priorities of their clients and their business. This course is designed to equip you with both - developing critical skills in strategic decision-making, contract negotiation, governance, and risk management. Whether you are interested in entrepreneurship, corporate consultancy, compliance and regulation, or management within a legal environment, this course offers a flexible and intellectually engaging route into a wide range of careers.
Drawing on expertise from the School of Business and the Leicester Law School, the course explores how law shapes business practices and how commercial priorities influence legal solutions.
Within the course we integrate real-world case studies, business strategy and legal practice and procedures which means you will graduate with practical insight and academic knowledge.
This course is for you if you are curious about how businesses operate within legal structures, and if you want to make an impact through understanding both sides of the corporate worlds.
