Course summary

Supervisors, available for MPhil and PhD research are available specialising in the following areas:
heritage and public history / the uses of the past within cultures and societies;
historiography / how history is written and understood;
early and late medieval settlement and landscape;
Christianity and the early Church;
early medieval economies;
British later prehistory;
food history and archaeology;
material culture studies.

Entry requirements

Good Honours degree in computing or computing science; experience of an object-oriented programming language; non-standard applicants are considered on their merit; overseas students whose native language is not English: IELTS 6.5.
