Course summary

Prepare for international business, becoming versed in French language and culture while studying finance and management.

The first year will give you a broad overview of French culture, society and history, and you’ll take your French language to a new level. You’ll also study the fundamentals of economics and management.

In later years, you’ll deepen your knowledge with a choice of modules in French literature, film, art, thought and society. Teaching of written and spoken French continues all the way through to your final year, combining practical language teaching with modules that explore the language in different contexts.

You’ll also learn about financial management, marketing, strategy and human resources, with business modules making up about one-quarter of your programme.

You’ll spend your third year studying or working in France or a French-speaking country, immersing yourself in its language and society.
