The MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration) provides a contemporary research-enhanced curriculum with a minimum of 1000 hours of professional practice experience and an accelerated route into the profession. It is an ideal study pathway for graduates with a related first degree wishing to become physiotherapists.
The programme will prepare you for working independently and with teams to provide high-quality, person centered care that aims to optimise health, function and well-being for individuals and to promote living well and self-management for populations and people living with long term conditions.
The programme has a strong emphasis on skill development for effective communication, evidence based practice, professionalism and leadership in healthcare, alongside promoting a systematic understanding of the core principles underpinning physiotherapy practice to guide clinical reasoning and health promotion.
On completion of the programme graduates are eligible to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council and membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
